Behrends worked directly with Trico Contract Management on the development of their signage program for both the interior and exterior signage at Shawnessy Station.

Pairing distinctive architecture with timeless design features, Shawnessy Station exudes modern living and neighbourly connections within a family-oriented setting.

Chosen for its accessible location next to Macleod Trail and bustling Shawnessy Shopping Centre, you’ll find a wealth of amenities nearby including Superstore, Chapters and Landmark Cinemas. Walkable to parks, pathways, shops, restaurants and transit – it’s the best kind of urban living in one of Calgary’s best suburban communities!
Project results
Behrends is honored to have been the signage provider on this project, its rooftop signage is visible from Macleod Trail SE and is a statement piece identifying the building, enticing passerby’s and on lookers to engage and find out more. When you arrive to Shawnessy Station you are welcomed by the beautiful monument signs that provide a sense of arrival “I am here”.
Behrends also manufactured and installed the Pylon sign (photos to come) that will primarily be used for all the tenants occupying the retail space on the main floor.
